LEGEND
Six objects chosen at random from a person's home or studio. Seemingly so insignificant, yet our brains' ability to make emotional connections and our vast imagination will always astonish us with its endless possibilities based on everything that has happened to us in our lives thus far.
"Objects of Little Importance" is partly a humorous title, and yet it’s also partly truthful. All the objects that we chose to surround ourselves with, eventually lose their meaning and the eventuality of life will decide what, if any objects have any significance or permanence past our own existence.
These works are an attempt to make a real human connection with the people behind these little collections of rather insignificant artifacts as well as to reflect on what is the significance of the objects in our own lives. As much as I want the viewers to reflect on each painting, it is my hope that the viewers look further to make some real connections with the creative people in their community behind these objects, people in their own lives and most importantly themselves.
