I am a phygital painter who through ancient philosophy explores the art authenticity of ancient peoples and vanished civilisations. I am interested in historical inconsistencies, paradoxes, parallels and mythmaking in different cultures on different continents. I reflect on my characters through integrating them into the past, often at pivotal historical moments, such as world wars.

Ethnographic research allows me to meaningfully borrow elements of historical costume and material cultural artifacts, and to work with them as a “collage” of time.

My media are canvas and oil. I use them to manifest color in its purest expression, to go back to the archaic and primordial archetypes of humanity. Using the seven-layered technique of the Flemish masters of the 16th century, I infuse my fantasy worlds into the 21st century phygital space. I also work with digital tools and blockchain technology, celebrating the harmony of numbers and codes, interdisciplinarity and relevance of my practices.
