“Senses: Developing Intuition” – A Workshop by Pilar O’Connor

This activity is organized in collaboration with the Fashion Design Department of the San Telmo School of Art and ST Fashion Week.

This workshop is, without a doubt, one of this year’s highlights. As part of the Moments Festival 2025 program in Malaga, artist Pilar Pagán O’Connor invites participants to a hands-on workshop that blends storytelling with craftsmanship. This session breaks the mold of what we are used to, offering a unique opportunity to see how creativity and needlework can unite to raise awareness and expand the possibilities of artisanal work. What will we experience in this workshop? Drawing from her own career—which spans textile art, fashion design, graphic design, and art direction—Pilar will share how creativity and sewing became tools for personal reflection and social critique. Through a talk and a visual presentation, she will take us on a journey from her childhood creative curiosity to becoming a designer, founding her own clothing brand, and her current development of felt compositions.
