About the event
The "Alma en Tierra" collection by Esther and Manuel Moreno (More&More Design) arrives at the gallery as a displacement of territory: from their studio located in a 13th-century Arab tower in Úbeda—a World Heritage city—to this exhibition space, where the material finds a new context for interpretation.
The project is articulated around the ideas of rootedness and belonging, drawing poetic resonance from the work of Miguel Hernández and the symbolic intensity of "El rayo que no cesa" (The Lightning that Never Ceases). Here, the earth is understood as both origin and vital pulse: surface, memory, and contained energy. The pieces evoke the landscape of Jaén—the olive groves, the water, the light—through textures and gestures that activate a direct relationship with the organic.
Tradition and contemporaneity intertwine in a language where craftsmanship takes on a conceptual dimension and design asserts itself as an artistic practice. Each work functions as a fragment of a narrative, a condensation of time and experience that transforms space into a place.
The presence of "Alma en Tierra" in the gallery reinforces a shared commitment to dialogue between different contexts and sensibilities. From the root to the projection, these pieces position creation as an act of continuity: the earth as both principle and horizon.piezas sitúan la creación como un acto de continuidad: la tierra como principio y como horizonte.
