About the event

Here is the translation for your exhibition announcement:

Dear art lovers and friends of Nika Art Gallery,

We are pleased to present the latest result of our collaboration with the wonderful Moments Festival. The opening of this new exhibition will take place at our gallery on October 25th, 2025, at 7:00 PM.

The exhibition features projects by Edu Rosa and Saúl G. Corona.

Edu Rosa brings over 40 years of experience as a photographer, which we believe is more than enough reason for this show to spark your interest. Beyond his experience, we are fascinated by what his work conveys and his unique approach. This exhibition is a literal journey through various cities that evolves into an even more interesting and profound voyage into the human soul.

“Brief as Photos / Postcards from Europe” is an eclectic look at our continent during a time when the identity of our territory feels increasingly confused and opposing political ideologies are drifting further apart. From cities like Brussels, London, Budapest, or Malaga, we will find photographs that highlight common ground alongside those that showcase our diversity.

Writer and poet Silvia Guerrero accompanies the images with micro-poems that capture fleeting moments and transform them into sensations.

Visual artist Saúl G. Corona presents his project “The Embrace as Resistance” at Moments Festival 2025—a proposal that delves into the body, desire, and affection as tools for struggle and social transformation. His work is rooted in a phenomenology of the erotic, understood not as mere sexuality, but as a vital drive; a loving and political gesture that opposes the indifference, fragmentation, and growing individualism of the contemporary world.

His current work revolves around the embrace as a political and affective act—a radical gesture of care in a world marked by emotional disconnection and symbolic violence. The bodies he represents—open, vulnerable, and pierced by luminous wounds—are a commitment to shared presence and the possibility of inhabiting the wound together without hiding it.
