He subsequently studied graphic design and digital marketing at the Estación Diseño school. He currently works as a graphic designer and illustrator, focusing his illustration practice on cultural projects. He has exhibited his work in Granada and Mexico City, and in addition to Galería de arte Nika in Málaga, his work can be found in several galleries across his home city and Seville.

In his work, Manu creates graphics where concept and aesthetic pleasure are rooted in nature and surrealism, executed with highly refined techniques. His visual narratives converge between the naïve and the sophisticated, and between the digital and the physical realms. His creations arise from a need to tell new stories using mostly pre-existing elements, completely transforming their meaning to create small universes filled with strange, mysterious characters open to the viewer's interpretation.
